Frej again.

Here’s a picture I found in my old sketch book a week ago or something, I filled it in with oil crayons and ink since I thought it was pretty decent, and that’s when I figured I should make that other painting of Frej. Not the best but it was fun to use the oil crayons for the first time in ages (Can’t really remember using them once since I got them when I was 16…)

Brooch.

91004_1283097016New favourite! Hugest brooch I ever owned, thrifted at Holmens Marknad for 50 kronor. Missing a few jewels but who cares!

I’ve updated the site with a bunch (more than ten right now, possibly some more coming if I find more complete ones tonight, I’ve had to throw out a lot which feels a bit sad…) from my pile of forgotten patterns that I had here. Mostly from the 60s, but also some 50s ones. Only adult patterns this time.

At the History of Medicine.
The whole place is excellent but the best thing of all was that they had a whole room dedicated to teeth and dental hygiene!

The past few days I’ve been painting a bit more… otherwise not that much has happened I guess. Hannah moved in to our collective though! Don’t think I mentioned that. Hannah is excellent. And we’ve been playing card games.
Also, I got in to environmental psychology which I am totally thrilled about! (I was 2nd reserve and thought I’d study long distance courses instead…) Have already ordered the books and prepared with new pencils and everything. Starting on Wednesday. I will learn about how to change people’s attitudes towards environment and issues regarding sustainability and so on. Prepare to be my test bunnies! Or something.
Today I bought another shitload of books. And yesterday too. I also got a very beautiful and huge brooch. And Frej found an electrical chord so that I could empty my cell phone camera into the computer. Right now I am at Frej’s place because I was too tired to go out to the bar with him and meet up with our friends. I’ll read more Tora Dahl instead.

If you’re swedish speaking and don’t have anything to read I think you should buy Hjortronlandet by Sara Lidman here. Beautiful edition, 9 kronor. I would buy it if I didn’t already own it!

I’ve been painting a bit again, finally! This I started with yesterday. It’s not even remotely finished but I think I should start showing work in progress here so that I might get around to do something once in a while. Motivation through force I guess. I have to finish or this will be the last you see of it and since I am not yet pleased that would be uncomfortable for me. This is seriously like the fourth painting I even make, why do I never paint when I really like to? It’s strange. Here, I sit around with the painting on my lap (and it’s quite big, like 50×70 or something) and it’s on wood so it’s heavy.
I took these pictures yesterday and then I changed the eye by the hand a bit (it was too low) but now he’s crosseyed since I haven’t been correcting it more so I’ll pose these old pics anyway.
Materials used so far (I always add whatever’s close to my reach) acrylics and water pencils and water colour and charcoal and ink.

Åsa just uploaded these lovely pictures she took when we were at Brännö a few weeks ago. The first is of a beautiful meadow where we also met the cat with the hyper integrity. The second is us playing vändtia and sjuan with a very dirty deck of cards. In the last one I have no idea what Frej is poking at.

If you’re in Göteborg, the final exhibition of Frej’s class from art school opened this saturday and will continue on for a week or so. It’s very very worth a visit, I liked pretty much everything!

I’ve been sceptical to Polyvore since it seems it makes people want to buy really expensive things… and I am only a buyer of vintage clothing + the occasional weird stockings, so I won’t buy anything I find on there. Then I was really bored the other day and joined anyway and it was fun to make outfits and get inspired. More fun than I thought it’d be! And I’ve seen a lot of pretty things that I can sew or craft together! I haven’t been sewing or doing anything creative for a really long time now which I totally have to change! Blah blah ok here are some outfits!

The picture upload still won’t work, since our internet is too slow… Changing internet companies from 3 to Telia the last day of this month so hopefully that will be a thing of the past soon. I have a lot of pretty things that I want to show! Took the jungian personality test again, though I don’t remember my results from a few years back. Think I was being truthful anyway!

ENFPs are introspective, values-oriented, inspiring, social and extremely expressive. They actively send their thoughts and ideas out into the world as a way to bring attention to what they feel to be important, which often has to do with ethics and current events. ENFPs are natural advocates, attracting people to themselves and their cause with excellent people skills, warmth, energy and positivity. ENFPs are described as creative, resourceful, assertive, spontaneous, life-loving, charismatic, passionate and experimental.”

What are your results? You can click the image to go to the website. The free test is small though, sometime I’ll take the big test!!
