Hello! I haven’t written anything here in ages because I’ve been too tired, stressed out and allround unmotivated to do much else than to study and get by, and internet access is stressing me out so instead I have been blocking out everything internet for a while. Gudrun lives here now! And so does Lars (no Vänsterpartiet pun intended!), a former homeless cat from Gothiakatten, the cat home we’ve been helping and who has helped us a lot aswell. I don’t have a picture of Lars to show because he’s a very shy cat who rarely comes out from his home under the bed in the living room. Other updates are that Linnea now has moved back in to the collective and together we have started fitness spring 2012 in which we will grow muscles like crazy and become super strong.

I’ll try to update more frequently, it’s just been tiring and I am glad 2011 is over because this year has to be better!

On the bad side, we have new neighbours who are crazy and scream so much in the nights I never know if I’ll be able to get to sleep in time, which is stressful still.

Also, there was a question when I logged in to wordpress again, if I still don’t eat sugar. And I’d say, pretty much, no I don’t. I don’t avoid it fully but it’s not something I do often. Maybe twice in a month or so, I have a vegan cupcake after lunch when at uni, there is a pretty nice place (Muffins, by Handels) that sells cheap vegan soup, and has vegan raspberry cupcakes aswell.

The auctions for the benefit of Gothiakatten are now all up and ready on tradera! All the money collected from these auctions will be donated to the cat home and go to their work in feeding, castrating, vaccinating and helping homeless cats from Kvibergs handelsträdgård to find new homes. I am really happy to be able to help out with something and hope for a lot of bids!
I will pay for shipping the garments so that all money goes straight to the organization.

Yesterday I started cutting my hair while watching Vetenskapens värld and ended up cutting it all by the blonde line. I got this urge to have my natural hair back again and it feels great to have it back!

Here’s a little preview of one of the three vintage dresses I’ll be auctioning out on Tradera this week (as soon as I have all the finished pictures) for the benefit of Gothiakatten, an organization helping to spay/neuter and give homes to homeless cats living in Kviberg.
This first dress is a two piece 40s(?) dress, I’ve never seen anything quite like it before.

Hello everybody! My web hotel is upgrading to MYSQL 5 and since the oscommerce solution I use for Lily of the Valley doesn’t support that, I’m taking the opportunity to change to a better and more modern webshop solution, seems like it’ll be OpenCart instead. I have to close down Lily on the 14th of December and will try to replace it with a new old shop ASAP, but it’ll probably take a while given my computer skills, or lack thereof. Until then, don’t place any orders if you’re not comfortable with ordering from a site where you can’t get an order update and know when your items have been shipped!

In other news, my friend Evelyn is staying at our place at the moment, and she if off on a photoshoot right now, with a few really lovely vintage dresses that I will be selling on the online auction site tradera for the benefit of a cat home nearby my house. So I’ll post the auctions here as soon as I get the finished photos!

Now I am going to go back to my flu and watch American Horror Story!

I keep forgetting I have a webcam and that I have taken pictures with it… here are some from the past month or two.

I don’t know where I was going here, probably Tip the Velvet or something like that.

Going to sleep now after a very long day! Frej has forbidden me to spend my time by the computer by the way, hoping that I will become a more efficient person. I think it’ll work! (This does not mean I will blog even less – I’ll probably find more to write about if I don’t spend this much time doing nothing/reading about cats online.) Goodnight!

There’s a huge storm in Sweden right now, not too bad in Göteborg but when I tried to ride my bike from the bus stop to Frej the bike almost went backwards, and afterwards I was so exhausted I was dizzy. It’s pretty cozy inside here, with the cats with me and the storm outside. Now Frej went to a Greenpeace greenspeakers meeting despite the storm and I am alone here with not much to do.

The signature L commented on my last entry saying that I should make a video with me speaking, and I thought that’d be fun but I have no ideas on what to talk about so I was wondering if you had any suggestions! Just tell me what to say and I’ll try to videoblog for the first time!

In other news, I am thinking about cutting my hair of to this again, but I am not sure at all. Growing your hair out is a pain, if I cut off all the blonde hair I’d have pretty much this exact hair cut, but what I really want is long hair that I don’t have to dye. But really, I know myself well enough to know it would be dyed again within a year.

One day last week, Rainbow decided he just knew how to play fetch! We didn’t try to teach him or anything. Now he drops the ball by your side and waits for you to throw it again and I feel like a parent bragging about my kid, he is so smart and awesome! I made a video to show off his skills! Never mind my stupid cat talk voice…

Next time I’ll try to write about something else besides cats.
