3Today I start blogging for the great swedish eco site Asfaltblomman, my blog there will be in Swedish and you find it at this link. Of course I will keep updating here too!

img_3054Cutie Anja of Clever Nettle sent me this little package with a tiny Lily of the Valley bottle and her Billuminati! :D I love getting surprises in the mail like that! Also Anja is awesome, you should read her blog and shop at her great Etsy store!

Reading

I’m at book #11 and it’s week 13 so I’m running a little bit behind.

11. Skrattets och Glömskans Bok – Milan Kundera

I got it at the release party for 365 saker du kan göra, where I traded it for my make up purse at a thing trading table.

img_3035I made a long vintage gown that Mattias gave me in to a short coctail dress with a detatchable over skirt that you can wear separately. I took the bust decoration away and used it for the wide waist of the over skirt, cut the gown in half and used the bottom part for the over skirt, then I just hemmed the remaining dress part. It’s really easy to do. (I know the hem needs to be ironed but I can’t do that today so I just took a picture anyway)

Geblod.nu

untitled-1

Haha this is Mattias picture of me in his mask, and with a lovely 50s dress he gave me that I will show you  some day. And I think there is a ghost behind me too.

Today I became a blood donor, haven’t been able to before because of piercings and stuff, and then my application got lost in the mail I guess so today I gave up the waiting and went to a drop-in place. Talked to my dad on the phone afterwards and he said he’d been in surgeries (he’s an anesthesiologist) where people have died from lack of blood supply, and there’s a shortage in all of Sweden so you should all do it! Geblod.nu is the swedish page where you can sign up for a control where they check if your values are good enough and all that. It was nice and easy.

I also went looking for glasses and found great ones! They will be one of the very few (only?) things I won’t buy second hand because I’m scared they’d break and leave me without insurace for the frames. I haven’t had glasses since I was 14 but I think it is time for me to give up the lenses, at least for most of the time.

Jönköping

I’m in Jönköping working and I’m homesick! I miss Göteborg. Yesterday I visited Maya & Martin, Maya was dreading my former flatmate Christina’s hair.  Today I’ve been trying to be creative but failed pretty miserably. img_2648

Here are link tips for two great sites! It’s neccessary to realise that it’s impossible to build a society on the eternal flow of cheap new merchandise. Join, so that you don’t throw away perfectly useful things that someone else needs just because you don’t use it anymore and noone you know wants to take them off your hands. There are others that do!

Reading…

I’ve been quite bad with the reading lately and haven’t kept my goal of one book/week but here are the ones I’ve read since the last post. Except for school books.

9. Vadå Vegan – Lisa Gålmark
10. Det är vår bestämda uppfattning att om ingenting görs nu kommer det att vara för sent – Andreas Malm (library book)

—> Meat climate <—

This is why I will never eat meat again.

12This is Carin and I at FPP! We have a band called Sneaky Females, we will make covers of Cheeky Girls and dance their excellent dances. I’ve made my dress from vintage fabric, the stockings, girdle and shoes are vintage.

Bettan and I at my place before the party. She gave me the green eyelashes because she is great!
