The day before yesterday my housekey suddenly decided to completely stop working so I had to make copies of one of my flatmate’s keys. I gave up after having spent ONE WHOLE HOUR trying to lock the door to our place before I left for the blood donation thingie. This is Frej on our hunt for a key making place.

And then we found it, and it was glorious! I took this picture when the key-making-man wasn’t looking.

Becka came from Jönköping to visit me this weekend and relax away from kid + house and all that stuff, haha. We decided to do everything luxorious we could. Like this:

After that we helped out at Johanna & Mattias’ place for a while and then went back home.

Sunday.

This is Elina and the clothing pile on the second day, after the party where a whole bunch of people had taken a few bags each… Today I’ve been adding a bunch of stuff to my site and of course there will be more. Somehow our internet here is sucky and so slow it won’t let me upload pictures to my database so I can’t add anything to the site where more than one picture is needed.  But that will change soon and for now there are lots of accessories up!

I donated blood for the first time today which was a very pleasurable experience with lots of lemonade and fruit and sandwhiches. I haven’t been able to do it before, first I used to be afraid of needles and then I overcame that but got a few piercings and had to wait. Everyone should do it because it’s nice and not at all painful or uncomfortable. Then Frej and I ate at Andrum which is a vegetarian restaurant with a buffet. Which means I’m still full because if it’s all you can eat I will eat all I can eat + more.

This kitchen couch was in the same pile as the chest though we thought it was broken at first since it was in three pieces. But no, not broken! Ulrika and I almost died carried it inside and up the tiny stairs but we got it! Now it’s in our kitchen. We’ll have to change the fabric of it sadly, it’s falling apart.

This is the chest I found outside our place today! How can you possibly throw that out!? People are crazy. It’s also locked and I can hear there’s something in there, very mysterious!

- Yesterday I had such a migraine I threw up three times and wanted to kill myself. Though Frej took care of me and fed me toast and petted me so it was ok.
- Being poor & having to rely on other people when stuff like my camera breaks.

+ I found a gorgeous navy blue & red 19th century chest out on the backyard supposed to be trashed, and a neighbour helped me carry it upstairs instead. Will take pictures of it tomorrow, now it’s standing in a corner and I can’t lift it myself because it’s huuuge.
+ Frej is home again! And he brought with him pictures of a gazillion rugs that his grandmother doesn’t want, so when Ulrika gets back from school we’ll get to pick which ones we want to bring here.
+ Frej also brought my parents old camera, so I am no longer without one.
