I just found out about French Letter Condoms through Ekoshoppa and think they seem really great! I, like 90% of the females I know who have ever been on birhtcontrol pill go crazy on hormones and can not ever use them again if I want my brain to function properly. French Letter Condoms are both made from fair trade rubber, and with no animal products! Most condoms have milk protein in them apparantly, I just learned this through google and am a bit grossed out by that fact.  (And here’s a small list of vegan condoms) They are 129 swedish kr for a package of twelve  on Jordklok.se and I think you can also order directly from their UK webpage if you want to. Oh and you get 10% off if you’re in their facebook group too!

“Hey lovers of the world … thank goodness you’re here. You have arrived in the divine world of the French Letter Condom Company, makers of the first FairDeal traded condoms for courageous creatures who Dare to Care.

Now you can make love with an eye on fair play with a French Letter condom. The rubber used to make the condoms is FSC certified and is traded fairly through the Fair Deal Trading supply chain. A royalty from each pack of French Letter condoms goes to ensuring that fair wages are paid to rubber plantation workers, and that they have adequate healthcare and pensions.

And just in case you’re wondering whether fairly traded condoms are as reliable as your regular brand, fear not. French Letter condoms carry the BSI kitemark and the CE mark.”

I am seriously trying to not make a pervy comment about milk products and condoms! Then again, my second thought was: of course it had to be french…
