Bleach, books & veganism
Posted by lilykarin on oktober 29th, 2009 . Filed under: Life .Bleached my bangs more yesterday, with leftover bleach from last time. And also I helped Frej dye his hair black & cut it.
Paper colour samples I found when I was organizing my room.
Susanne and I were at another thrift store yesterday and I got Middlesex that I started reading right away and am already loving, The Third Revolution by Paul Harrison and a 1903 childrens book with amazing illustrations and insane stories with obedient girls. I spied on the guy who was before me in line and he got a bunch of books I wanted (Like the picture of Dorian Gray), I wanted to wrestle him over it but didn’t.
Pretty cover.
I have also been eating/consuming vegan only for well over a month now and have thus decided that I am and will remain a vegan. Not a light decision for me, am thinking it’s pretty much a life decision so I had to adjust to the thought for a while. And now I have and it feels really good!

Congrats on going vegan! It’s a big step, but it feel so good, just as you mentioned. And Middlesex is probably one of my favorite books, (hope you’re reading the original (english)), enjoy!

it does feel very good! nope, this is the swedish translation though if i am to believe the reviews i read the translation is a good one and so far it’s been a nice and fluent read! Though I generally agree that reading in the original language is way better.
