Yesterday I went to a fleamarket that is held once every year… Went there with Johanna, Mattias and Pim but pretty they left pretty soon and I stayed behind looking through piles of books. I got a bunch, like 16 or something. For 115 kronor total! Some of which I’ve been wanting to read for ages, like Solange.

I also got this mesh blouse with embroideries and tiny puff sleeves, for 10 kr.
The skirt is a gift from Becka, it was her grandmother’s.

Also got Dinas book, which was actually what I went there looking for. Like I said, her books are at most thrift stores and fleamarkets so you will find probably them when you look for them! I’ve already read almost half of it, don’t like it as much as the books about Tora though, which was a tiny disappointment.

Make up! Another eyeshadow I got from Fyrinnae & the purple lipstick is possibly Julias, someone’s left it behind in the collective anyway!

i agree so much about the wassmo books. they made an extremely expensive film based on the dina books and it is in english (why on earth) and honestly dreadful. one of her most recent books is called “et glass melk, takk” and is about trafficking; it is as row and honest as the glassveranda-series. some of her poems are really good as well.

bonus points – herbjørg wassmo lives down the road from me, so i see her on the tram and in the supermarket all the time, but i never have the guts to talk to her.

your cardigan is glorious. the last picture reminds me of sofi oksanen!

I’ve been wanting to read Ett glas mjölk..! The Dina book is boring me more and more, soon too be finished but I don’t know if I will even read the following two. Maybe, we’ll see.. (if I thrift them for cheap!) but the language is not at all as good and I like language too much!

Totally happy about the Oksanen comparison! Haha they keep calling her a “goth rocker” in newspapers here, so embarrassing! Rockeeerrr!
