Day 08 – A book everyone should read at least once
Well, that means it would have to have some kind of relevance to “everyone”. Which means I’ve been thinking about this the whole day (!) without coming up wth anything. I think everyone should read at least one serious book about environmental issues and/or sustainable development however. That was my main conclusion. Then I was thinking about which one and I do not know. There isn’t one that covers everything at once. It is not enough to read a book about the specifics. I will think more about it. Some suggestions for now: Gaia – James Lovelock / Environmental Ethics – Joseph R. Des Jardins / Ecocities – Richard Register / Walden - Henry David Thoreau
