Managed to upload two more now before it stopped working again! Here’s what I wore from thursday until sunday straight since I wasn’t home to change. Though at Frej’s place I mainly wore his black robe anyway… (and yes I know I’ve worn almost exactly this outfit in outfit picture before, sorry for being boring but I like these pictures!)
What I wore
Vintage dress – modified by me from a full length plain skirted dress since it was badly stained and this was a good way to hide it
Belt – from Johanna & Mattias’ cleanout a while back
Underskirt – thrifted
Tights – Rut mfl

Today I’m studying for an exam this thursday but Frej & I took a break from our duties to go to Emmaus by Hjalmar Brantingsplatsen where I bought a book about the WTO. Frej bought two very terrible sitting sacks in patterned 90s fabrics, don’t know the proper word for those in english. He is now in the process of sewing new covers for them but I hear him moaning angrily because the sewing machine isn’t working very well so we’ll see how that goes… Ok now he gave up.
What I wore.
Knitted beret – thrifted
Scarf – from Adina
Jacket – thrifted
Gloves – thrifted
Bag – Originally Micans, via Frej
70s dress – thrifted
Tights – bought about five years ago somewhere, indiska perhaps.
Shoes – thrifted

This is what my view is like. I love those shoes, thrifted them in Stockholm.

Breakfast this morning. Frej makes his own soy milk which he then keeps in that lovely tea pot.

He has also just bought this trophy for drinking water out of.

What I’m reading now (LOVE it!)

Frej had also thrifted a ceramic bird flute thingie… lergök.

These two are from yesterday when I was at my place & very pleased with having been to the dentist which I totally love!! (Bordering on fetishising it…) I got dental insurance for three years & lots of praise over my good teeth!

Happy teeth girl!!!

Vintage low waisted dress – bought from a friend a few years back
Raspberry tights - from Johanna & Mattias’ wardrobe cleanout
Mary Janes – thrifted at Börsen on första långgatan, they’re from Ecco and super comfortable!
Vintage portrait necklace - thrifted a few years ago

And irl I am also wearing my fancy arm devices… glamorous!!

More pictures of dress & new shoes. Today I’ve exercised with my friend Anna! My aim is to be strong & awesome. Then I got back home, made food, started procrastinating a thing I am supposed to finish writing, put on some make up, changed into the leopard leggings because I adore them, took pictures, cleaned up, drank a lot of tea.
First; the pine cone hat!

The eyeshadow is eyedust from make up store, the name is Celebration and it’s black with some glitter in it. Frej gave it to me because he didn’t use it anymore. I can’t make it stay in my face, I look like King Diamond after a while… Guess I’ve got to go get some of that eyeshadow primer I don’t want to buy… if noone has some diy trick for making powder eyeshadow stay on? Evelyn suggested vaseline but I don’t think she had tried it and I don’t have any at home anyway.

The shoes I bought at Börsen for 30 kr.

A vintage portrait necklace I thrifted years ago.

*cool*

Quick post, have to go to and start my new course at uni! I bought both the dress and the shoes at the second hand store Börsen at Första Långgatan yesterday! The lady in the store made me promise to have much fun in the dress.
Hat - got it at christmas, used to be my grandmother’s sister’s hat I think. It has a golden pine cone!
50s brocade dress – bought at Börsen
Two belts – Found heaps of them deadstock once
Two different kinds of 50s-60s stockings because I felt like it - thrifted
Patent leather pumps - bought at Börsen

Vintage knitted hat - gift from my friend
Dress - I modified a damaged vintage dress
Belt – from Mattias & Johannas clearing out of stuff
Leggings - Rut mfl
Pumps – vintage, bought from a friend
Frej called me a Belarusian princess.

The dress is super short, I have to wear an underskirt underneat to prevent accidents.

I made another investment. I’ve wanted these leggings since the beginning of the summer.
The vintage shoes were bought from Emma ages ago, true love.

The pink eyeshadow is from Linneas play makeup kit.

The dress used to be a long dress I found cheap in a thrift store because had a lot of brown staining. I just cut it off and made ruffles out of the lower part of the skirt, and they hid the stains. Really easy and good trick!

<p style=”text-align: left;”><span style=”font-family: Verdana; font-size: xx-small;”>
Vintage wool hat - from Adina
40s knitted cardigan - thrifted
50s dress – Emmaus by Järntorget for 190 kr
Petrol stockings - thrifted in unopened package, they keep falling off me though, resulting in me walking like John Cleese or someone who has peed their pants in public. This keeps happening me when I’m in a hurry and it SUCKS! Also my coat is so long I can’t reach them to pull them up and then I have to walk with them by my knees. On a bad day they also take my underwear with them on their way down. End of story.
Shoes – Total lie that i wore these outside… I wore boots. The boots are too snowy to wear inside now and the internet is all about pretending to look good anyway….ehehe

Face & best hat for keeping ears warm in -20 which is my biggest inspiration for the week.

60s lace dress – gift from my friend Emma about five years ago
Vintage lace underskirt – thrifted
Stockings - could be from anywhere, don’t remember & had for ages
Vintage shoes – bought from the same Emma who gave me the dress
Our poor couch still hasn’t been finished, we need to change the fabric on the back of it aswell, and we want it to have some text embroided on the fabric first. And it’s hard to decide on what with four different opinions.

Purple eyeshadow – from a make up playing kit inside a cd case called Lizzies Greatest Hits that my flatmate Linnea was going to throw out because she got it when she was like twelve. I took it instead and love it, haha! It has two shades of purple. two pink and one white.

Though I am totally cheating with the shoes, not wearing them outside today when it looks like this outside my window.

Today is a sucky headachy day anyway. I have had nightmares two days in a row and I haven’t had real nightmares since I was a child. I dream about nazis marching, and the future. Suss is going to help me with the website a bit and then I will probably just sleep and watch movies at Frej’s place.
Head scarf - from my mom
Bow scarf thing – is actually the shirt I wore underneat that has a bow collar
40s winter coat - second hand
Vintage leather bag - second hand
Boots – second hand

Stupid face but better picture of beloved bag.

Suss with lovely earrings!

At the thrift store I found the books I mentioned wanting to read in my last book post and was very pleased with that. (though it’s no big surprise since she’s a fairly big writer in Sweden so her books are pretty much always at thrift stores here) They were 5 kr each.

Then Suss & I went into town so that I could force myself to do something I really dislike doing; buy underwear. I was cleaning out my underwear drawer this morning and realised I only had four pairs left that didn’t have holes in them, haha! Before I have had a vague plan that when I had run out of underwear I would have learned to sew my own but when I did try a few months ago the result was terribly crappy and now my sewing machine won’t sew for some reason. So I made my first thought through exception from the buy nothing plan. Though underwear and pantyhose have always been on the maybe allowed-list. Haven’t run out of either before though so I haven’t had to do it.
Anyway it was quite a pain underwear shopping. But now I have enough to last me a couple of years I’d say. (A few of the ones I sorted out today I remember buying at least six years ago, damn!)
This was also the first time I was really “shopping” in Göteborg, like going from one store to another actually looking for things and I strongly disliked it. I got stressed and annoyed and everyone else was annoyed but Suss was my hero for coming along with me! Otherwise I would have fled before entering the first damn Lindex. If you don’t go to stores in a while you do get really surprised at the intensity of the bad stressed mood people are in! Hopefully it will be another six years before I have to buy underwear again!! Though I doubt it, considering the quality. But maybe I will learn to sew nice underwear that don’t look like a cotton sack on my ass at some point.
A failed attempt at taking outfit pictures. It’s too dark inside here, even at mid day! I curse the winter and make the picture black and white *artsy*!! Vintage hat, vintage lace and velvet 50s dress, stockings I magically found in my closet and that may belong to anyone who lives in this apartment. Vintage shoes.

These I took at Frej’s studio yesterday. Because I wore the same thing yesterday, ha!

A belt I bought yesterday at a thrit store, I think it fitted with the hat and sorta with the piercing aswell.

TODAYS PLANS: Not much. My goal is to make a drawing. Perhaps clean, and perhaps read.
TODAYS MOOD: Cold and kinda lame!
TODAYS WANT: More food!
PS! This is the fanciest and most stylish person I have seen in a long long time!
