Linnea and Frej helped me to assembly it. Actually, they did pretty much everything and I made coffee.

Oh, and also,  Ruby & Emma gave me the paint they had used in their bedroom since they had some left over! So Frej and I painted my wall the most perfect turquoise!

Accidental walk-in-closets rule! I found a full lenght mirror in a second hand store so now I can see my full outfits before I walk out the door for the first time in three years!
Other side. There will be more pictures, but right now I have no internet access at home due to me flipping over a for some reason watered plastic flower on the router. So I just snapped a few quick photos and am now at Frej’s place, actually sitting underneath his own loft bed.

Today I was visited by a reported and a photographer from Göteborgs-Posten so there will be an article about my love for vintage things some day coming up pretty soon!

Today Carl helped us get the Cure poster up! Yay for tall people! Then I did a radio interview with my friend Karin, about second hand and stuff like that. I don’t know when it will air or if it will be on webradio, if so I’ll tell you! Tonight is Club PARTYANIMAL at Henriksberg and I’m wearing my awesome new (vintage) knitted monkey sweater. It will be friends with the penguin sweaters.

Did I ever tell you why our collective is called No Disco? When we had just moved in here, there were construction workers still working in the apartment because it wasn’t all renovated. They were working with stuff in the apartment for about a month.. Then one day the door bell rang and Julia opened. There were three or four of the workers, in just their underwear, asking “Hello, do you have a disco?”.. She said “No, we’re sleeping” and closed the door again. And so we named our place No Disco and wrote it on the lamp shade you see through the glass door when you enter the house. And that’s that!

I was going to take pics of my outfit yesterday but I never did so I only have the detail picz… Wore a glittery 60s dress & purple zebra patterned stockings I found along with the black/white ones that I gave Frej instead.

Yesterday I got a bookshelf!! Now there is actually some kind of order, and light, in my room again! (The books were piled up in my window before and didn’t let all the daylight in…) I found it too at Ebbes hörna, for 75 kr, carried it home and noticed that the metal pieces you have to put the shelves on, were missing. Got terribly cranky, went back, no metal bars, they gave me a few plugs to try to use instead, went back home, plugs didn’t work, Frej & I put the shelves up hanging on long screws instead and it seems to be working. Hopefully it won’t fall apart completely anyway! Then I realised I need a bigger bookshelf but oh well…

Great pleasure was taken in alphabetizing  the books! I worked in an antique bookshop, Lectura in Jönköping, for a few weeks when I was about 16-17, when you are supposed to try a job for school. Best thing ever! I got to alphabetize everything in each subject & in the storage room aswell. Those were the days…

Susanne also brought home a shelf and a lot of christmas decorations (they are teaming up on me in the collective on wanting christmas decorations here, I’d rather not since I find them kind of annoying but I bow to the majority I guess)

Been at the doctor’s again today. He said I can’t sit for more than 30 minutes straight without stretching, but I can’t even sit 10 minutes period so that’s not hard to do. Got another kind of supportive device

I’m listening to a wonderful radio program about Marianne Faithfull. (love swedish radio) / Am pretty sure that I have carpal tunnel syndrome full out, fuck! / Ziggy is a fantastic kitten! / I make smoothies all the time now, how could I fall out of that habit when it’s so good? /  I love my bed. /

I got inspired and also changed the fabric of a chair that was all gross and brown with coffee stains. This fabric is also from the huge haul I got from Johanna & Mattias. It took five minutes tops, it was so easy!
