GP Jobb & Studier cover.
I scanned this mostly because I was talking to Adina on the phone yesterday and she wanted to see it. Here you have me with my fab back ache body language! I’ve gotten a bunch of sweet emails from people who read the article and am really happy about that – and I also found an old friend who I have not heard from in almost ten years! And we even go to the same school!
Embracing it.

Yesterday when I saw Åsa to have some sushi we walked past an ad that said “embrace your love for sausage!” or something like that. So I thought I would! I had actually already bought the sausage but here I am, embracing it. This is my favourite; Wheaty gran chorizo. It’s 52 kr for 200 g, you can buy it at Fram (52 kr) or Ekostore (if I remember correctly, it is somewhat pricier there) in Göteborg and it is really delicious on hard bread.
Göteborgsposten.
An article about me, the shop, second hand and my studies is up on Göteborgspostens website, here.
Carin and Jacob gets married.
This past weekend, Frej and I were in Jönköping to go to Carin’s and Jacob’s wedding in beautiful Hakarps kyrka.

Beautiful roof. I forgot to bring napkins and had to spend half the ceremony holding my nose which wasn’t the best but it was so beautiful & they had a live singer singing the ship song by Nick Cave so who can blame me.
Bettan, Frej and Becka. I gave up trying to take good pictures after a while and let Becka use her fancy camera for that while I used this romantic frame instead.
Most beautiful bride EVER!!11
And the best newlyweds-car.
And the happy couple and the beer!
There are also really unflattering pictures of me dancing, but I refuse to post those on the internets so this will be all.
Back to school.
Today, my program started so I am as of today officially a student at Gothenburgs business school, something I’d never thought… I’ve been really sleepy all day and celebrated this new era with dropping out from going on a trip with Paddan with my new classmates, which was rewarding enough. Went home to run a few errands, try to get internet fixed at home again, and after that I went to Frej’s. Here is a picture of Frej and his glasses-sunburn.
It never ends!!! This time extremely clean blood due to not mixing with the lower classes. Danielle Steel.
And after that I’ve spent my evening updating Ulrikas website (go to the category: mönster which is swedish for patterns) with a heap of her beautiful patterns and also I have been trying to fix some errors with Frej’s website; half successful and half not.
Rose by Ulrika Gustafsson, one of the new ones!
My room 2.0 or something.
I haven’t shown any pictures of my room in ages, because it’s been such a mess. But a couple of days ago, Frej and I went on a mission; borrowed Axel’s car and bought a loft bed each from a guy in Majorna, his kids had gotten tired of them I guess. Now I’ve got one in my room and Frej one in his apartment. My room was so crammed, I am thrilled with the results and it is way better to have a loft bed than I expected! The absolute best thing so far is the thing that Linnea and Hannah mentioned with such dread; the fact that if you put the alarm clock somewhere else in the room there is no way you’re getting back up in the bed to go back to snoozing. I love this since I am a total snooze addict and have ruined so many mornings with snoozing for four hours and waking up with a headace.
Linnea and Frej helped me to assembly it. Actually, they did pretty much everything and I made coffee.
Oh, and also, Ruby & Emma gave me the paint they had used in their bedroom since they had some left over! So Frej and I painted my wall the most perfect turquoise!
And all done! Though room not all cleaned, and quite messy.
Accidental walk-in-closets rule! I found a full lenght mirror in a second hand store so now I can see my full outfits before I walk out the door for the first time in three years!
Other side. There will be more pictures, but right now I have no internet access at home due to me flipping over a for some reason watered plastic flower on the router. So I just snapped a few quick photos and am now at Frej’s place, actually sitting underneath his own loft bed.

Today I was visited by a reported and a photographer from Göteborgs-Posten so there will be an article about my love for vintage things some day coming up pretty soon!
Gudrun update.
We were on the lookout for Gudrun’s alleged kittens for quite a while when I first wrote about her here, but realized pretty soon she wasn’t a mom yet, but was going to be.Ten days ago or so she gave birth to five kittens in the forest outside, a few hours after a crazy fight with escapee Ziggy that made her water break on the stairs to our flat! Our dear neighbours Ruby & Emma then decided that they could take the family in (we did not dare to take them to our house due to Ziggy’s dislike) and they have been living with Ruby & Emma for a few days now. We have already started to look for homes for them, and have applied for funds to pay for their vaccinations and ID-tagging and so on. If you’re interested in a kitten and live nearby Göteborg or Jönköping, you can go to this fb event and contact Ruby or Emma. We want the new owners to insure the kittens directly, and they can leave Gudrun in November.
Gudrun has been magnificent and instantly started to go on the litter box so we guess she’s been an indoors cat before, and is not born in the wild. When we took them in, she just took a quick walk around Ruby & Emma’s kitchen and then went to feed her babies and relax. She is super calm and nice, and I am really relieved she is so happy inside!
Space nun.

I bought this vintage dress the day before yesterday at Holmen’s marknad for 65 kronor. It’s wool & now that I’ve taken it in it is perfect for fall. Frej convinced me to buy it, I was quite sceptical at first as I didn’t really feel like sewing. Watched this Vivienne Westwood documentary while sewing yesterday evening and it was the reason for me going through my jewellery box in search of my VW brooch today. Frej just called me a space nun.
Pattern update on Lily of the Valley again!
I have again updated Lily of the Valley with a heap of 40s-50s knitting patterns and a few knitting magazines from the early 1950s, they’re all super lovely and I will scan some of the patterns in the books before I sell them so that I can try and knit something for myself one day when my arms are good enough to keep up a job like that!
This one below is so gorgeous!
